About

Dr. Mark Strzeminski, DC

Dr. Mark Strzeminski, DC, has been a chiropractor for over 13 years. His practice is located in Somerset, New Jersey, and in that time he has treated many patients of varying age ranges (pre-adolescents to seniors) with varying types of health issues. These conditions range from simple backaches, to more complex problems such as migraine headaches, disk herniation/bulges, fibromyalgia, and carpal tunnel syndrome; he has accomplished this with great results. He also has had very good success with various types of athletic injury such as “swimmer’s shoulder,” impingement syndromes, weight training injuries, hip problems, “shin splints,” elbow problems, and running problems. He attributes these successes to practicing not only chiropractic, but also to practicing a specific form of soft tissue therapy called Active Release Technique, or A.R.T., for short. Due to the highly effective nature of the technique, Dr. Strzeminski has been working with the Rutgers football team, women’s swim team, and various aspects of Rutgers athletics, and Olympic athletes.

Dr. Strzeminski’s education includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Scranton, which was completed in 1991. While attending U of S, he competed on the rugby team and enjoyed weight training. He then went off to Davenport, Iowa to study chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic. He completed his studies in 1995, earning a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. In 1999, he took his first Active Release Technique course. Since then he has been certified in the Spine Protocols, Upper and Lower Extremity Protocols, and a more advanced form of A.R.T., Long Nerve Tract Entrapments. Dr. Strzeminski keeps up his skill level in A.R.T. by attending “refresher” courses, or re-certification courses twice a year.

Originally from Saddle Brook, NJ, Dr. Strzeminski now resides in North Brunswick with his wife Silvia, and their two boys, David and Michael.
